Konnichiwa (hello) and welcome fifth graders to the Japan educational page! I encourage you to journey through this website to learn about the many different and unique aspects of Japan. Become educated about the different Japanese geographic features and Japan's interesting culture and traditions. Also included in this website is a quiz of basic information about Japan, lower elementary, upper elementary, and fine art activities, and my teacher's page with information about our class! Japan's name translates to "The land of the rising sun"The red circle in the middle represents the sun. The red sun is a symbol of brightness, sincerity, and warmth and the white surrounding the circle represents honesty and purity.
